In Memory of Jim Gaito...

We at The Ol' Country Barn lost a great friend and "family" member today.
The world is a sadder place with the loss of Jim Gaito.
I am sure that most, if not all of you, know Jimmy. You may not know him by name, many knew him as "The Candle Man". Jim was the maker of Jim's Homemade Candles which have been sold in the shop for more years than I can remember.
He was a wonderful man with a huge heart. He would have done anything for just about anyone. Although he is gone, he will never, ever, be forgotten.
His memory will live on through all of us!
I know he will always be in our hearts!

Winter is here!

(No... this is not a recent photo of snow on Fritz Hill! No need to worry about driving in this just yet!)

...and that means, it's almost time for us to close for the cold winter season!

BUT! There's still time! Come out and do your last minute Christmas shopping with us on Saturday and Sunday! There's some great new merchandise in the shop and you'll always be able to find that unique and perfect gift for everyone on your list with us!

We'll be closing the shop down for the season after this weekend.

Thank you all for another great year at the Ol' Country Barn!
